International Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (ICARS) is running under the aegis of Smt. Girija Devi Charitable Trust (Regd.), Delhi.
Since after inception in 2008, Smt. Girija Devi Charitable Trust (Regd.) has been taking a number of initiatives to promote education for all and especially for the children of under privileged sections of the society. Smt. Girija Devi Charitable Trust (Regd.) is a Non-profit Registered Society based in Delhi- NCR. The society is managed entirely by volunteers and educationists. Now the group of SGDCT has taken a pledge to provide all the possible opportunities to the less fortunate youth so that they can move from darkness towards light.
With the right support and opportunities the youngsters of our nation can do progress and be self-reliant. SGDCT, Education For All Children Programme aims at providing underprivileged students with opportunities for further education and job oriented training and placement.
International Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (ICARS) has also been involved in helping the young meritorious students who want to achieve something in the society but are being unable to do so because of financial restraints in their families. ICARS also advocates and has been instrumental in working towards achieving economical and social independence for the self reliance of the women in DELHI-NCR.
International Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (ICARS) has also been involved with school students to promote their scientific temperament towards environment by conducting some environmental activities including Tree Plantation drives. ICARS mainly focuses on areas such as The Conservation and Management of Natural Resources especially Water, Soil and Solar Energy, Environment based education and Training. The projects have helped in making available portable water, reducing soil erosion and enhancing the perpolation of water into ground.
International Centre for Advanced Research and Studies (ICARS) has always been taking initiatives for research based education in Science and Technology, Environmental Science, Health Education Activities etc..
